Department of Semiconductor Electronics & Integration Science

While recent advancement of semiconductor integration electronics made it possible the practical applications of information networks, mobile communications, computers, digital appliances and robots, it is still expected to further research semiconductor integration science for down-to-earth realization of integrated systems with high-level recognition and learning capabilities by innovative circuits and architectures.
Our research is closely related with the 21st-century COE Program, "Nanoelectronics for Tera-bit Information Processing". Offering education programs in cooperation with the Research Institute for Nanodevice and Bio Systems, we aim to foster far-sighted researchers with wide and deep knowledge from circuit system design to manufacturing process technology as well as well-experienced technical professionals.
