   If the university is closed off, then despite what education or research is being conducted, it cannot create a relationship with the community. Community Cooperation Division is working to inform the local community about the university's many resources and activities, and to increase the number of opportunities for access to the university.

Comprehensive Academic Consultation

 

  Provide consultations for every inquiry as a one-stop service window for HU's local communities.

    Provide extensive information about HU resources and activity based on demands from those in the community, such as on-campus researcher profiles, joint research mediation, etc.

    Also has the important function of mediating cooperation between on-campus researchers, student groups, etc, and the region.

 
Campus Guide

 

   With the goals of having the citizens of the region get to know the facilities and environment at HU, as well as to deepen their interest and knowledge of HU, the university is offering "Campus Guide".  820 tours have been held from May 2004 to the end of 2012 and more than 11,500 guests had joined the tour.

 

    We have two types of the tour, "Regular Guide" and "Special Guide".

 

Regular Guide

    Beginning at 1 p.m. every Friday, student guides introduce campus facilities and the surrounding area. Starting in 2007, various on-campus resources will be introduced with the cooperation of the Hiroshima University Museum.

 

Special Guide

    We accept many kind of requests and held "Special Guide". We guide many kind of groups such as highschool students, people living in regeonal community, etc.
