Graduate School of Health Sciences is consisted of Health Sciences Major that has two departments: Department of Nursing Science and Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Sciences. These sciences are relatively young sciences. The development of new paradigm is challenged daily in our laboratories.
In Department of Nursing Science, advanced researches in nursing sciences targeting from infant to elderly have been carried out. Midwifery, mental health and community health including school health are other important areas of research. In addition, researches in health promotion and health informatics that form the basis of applied health sciences are also carried out.
In Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Sciences, advanced researches in physical therapy and occupational therapy targeting from brain to foot have been carried out. In addition, basic medical researches are also carried out.
These researches are promoted largely by grants and the results are returned to public.
