[Notice] –Applicants who wish to apply for JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) scholarship are required to submit the form No.10 in order to process your application. Please send the hardcopy along with the other HUSA application documents by March 20, 2013. If you have any questions, please contact us at huhusa@hiroshima-u.ac.jp . (Updated on 2/20/2013)
[Notice] -Applicants are required to submit the documents No.8 and No. 9 above, in order to prove financial status. These documents will be submitted to the Immigration Bureau by HU to apply for your “Certificate of Eligibility (COE)” in July, 2013. The “financial supporter” needs to be consistent and identical with the person stated in your on-line application for “COE” to be submitted in May, 2013.

B. Other documents to be submitted
- 2 Passport type (40 x 30 mm / 1.6 inch x 1.2 inch) pictures
(Applicant’s name and country name should be written on the back.)
- Officially Certified Academic Record
- Explanation of grading system in the Academic Records if the academic record does not list it.
- GPA (Grade Point Average) if the academic record does not list it.
- A copy of a TOEFL score (iBT above 61 / CBT above 173 / PBT above 500) or IELTS score (above 5.0) OR
- A copy of a certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency Test 2nd Grade [Nihongo Noryoku Shiken 日本語能力試験 ２級] or above*
*1. Native English speakers do not need to submit any document of language proficiency tests.

document specified above.
