From The Shinkansen (Higashi Hiroshima Station)
|

The nearest station to Hiroshima University is Higashi-Hiroshima, where only Kodama Express is available. Bus service to Hiroshima University is available 5 times a day. It departs from a bus bay at the left side of the Station Square, and reaches at the University in 17 minutes (380 yen).
Taxi service is always available for 10 minutes (aprrox. 1700 yen).

From JR Saijo Station

From Hiroshima Airport, please take a bus to JR Shiraichi Station (for 13 min, available in every 30 min from Bus Bay 1). Then change to any westward train to JR Saijo Station (9 min. 190 yen).
If you use faster Shinkansen service (such as Nozomi, and Hikari), change to an eastward local train at Hiroshima Station. You may use either a local train (34 minites) or a rapid service (26 minutes) to Saijo Station (5 times a hour).
From a bus bay just in front of the JR Saijo Station, frequent bus service is available to Hiroshima University, every quarter of an hour(20 minutes, 280 yen).

From Hiroshima Bus Terminal at Kamiyacho, a direct bus service called "GREEN PHOENIX" to the campus is available, 12 times a day, for 50-60 minutes and cost 800 yen.

You may get off from the bus at "Daigaku-Kaikan Mae", after 1 out of 2 rolling around.
It stops at the bus stop heading east. Walk to the south and find a building in front of you.
