1. Concerning the common course 1・2 student must take three courses (6 credits)under the direction of an academic advisor.Students may take more than three electives (more than 6 credits)and include the additional credits in those categories 2 and 4,but students must consult with an academic advisor about this.
2. Students are required to take courses specified by the academic advisor 12 credits or more,mainly from the courses of the concerned studies.
3. Students can take one seminar specified by the academic advisor,up to 8 credits within the completion of master course. Students may take more than 4 credits and include the additional credits in those categories 2 and 4, but students must consult with an academic advisor about this

Pursuance of Course Work during Evening/Holiday Session

In order to facilitate pursuance of course work by interns,lectures are offered in the evening and during summer vacation in addition to regular hours.
 

Requirements for Degrees
 
Master's Program
 
 


Students who are in the master's programs are required, to complete the program, to attend for two years in order to obtain 30 credits and to complete a master's thesis which is supervised by academic advisors. Students are also required to pass the final examination. With the approval at the faculty meeting, a student may complete the program in one year or more upon the merits of outstanding academic achievement during the first year of the program.
 

Doctoral Program
 
 


Students who are in the doctoral programs are required, to complete the program, to attend for three years in order to obtain 8 credits and to complete a doctoral dissertation. Doctoral candidates are also required to pass the final examination. With the approval at the faculty meeting, a student may complete the program in one year or more upon the merits of outstanding academic achievement during the first year of the program. If the attendance requirement is waived in this way, a total of three or more years of attendance (master's and doctoral programs are combined) is required.

The Master's degree is granted to students who fulfil the requirements stated above.
