Center for Collaborative Research and Community Cooperation, Hiroshima University 

Center for Collaborative Research and Community Cooperation (CCR&CC), Hiroshima University, is a part of Organization for Outreach and Partnership Promotion which is organized under the Vice-President. For international industry-academia collaboration activities, the International Industry-Academia Collaboration Division (IIACD) is single point of contact.  Activities related to Medical, Dentistry and Pharmacy, and Health and Social Science fields will be covered by Hiroshima Branch Office, in cooperation with IIACD.
 

 

 

Global Network 

Hiroshima University(HU) has a long history on the International Exchange Agreement. HU has concluded 118 agreements with 114 Universities & Institutes from 32 countries and areas in university level, and 168 agreements with 38 countries and areas in faculty level. Moreover, HU has overseas offices in Beijing and Shanghai in China, Tomsk in Russia, and Nairobi in Kenya.

In addition to such strong overseas-networking, Center for Collaborative Research and Community Cooperation (CCR&CC) has further concluded MOUs with Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok, Thailand, and Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) in Indonesia.

To promote and assist global industry-academia collaboration, CCR&CC has established overseas offices and dispatched four distinguished coordinators in New York and Wilmington (USA), Bangkok, and Geneva. With this new organization, the Center is focused on matching university research outcome and technology seeds with global industry needs.
