Student discount certificates are issued for the purpose of reducing the economic burden on students in respect to their studies, thereby contributing to the development of their university education. They are not intended for use for any other purposes.

In principle, up to 10 certificates can be used annually when a student needs to travel for any of the purposes indicated below (applicable for students traveling over 100 km one way on ordinary JR trains):

Please use your student discount certificates is required in a well-planned and effective manner by choosing round-trip or excursion tickets, for example.

Returning home for the holidays or other purposes

Curricular educational activities such as experiments or on-site research

Special educational activities authorized by the University or extracurricular cultural or athletic activities

Field trips or participation in events that the University has approved as being appropriate

Treating/recovering from injuries, illnesses or other problems detrimental to study

About Inappropriate Usage
|

|
The following uses of student discount certificates are inappropriate. Should a student be caught committing an inappropriate act in respect to the use of a student discount certificate, not only will the student be required to pay a significant surcharge, but the University will also face measures such as the termination of student discount certificates, which cause the entire university to suffer. As such, we ask that you only use the certificates in a legal manner.
