The Saijo Seminar House, a joint usage facility for overnight training programs for national university students and staff in the Chugoku and Shikoku region, aims to contribute to the development of academic culture in the local community together with fostering social skills, raising cultural literacy, promoting extracurricular student activity, and to foster closer relationships between students, and between students and staff members through communal living.
The Seminar House is adjacent to the Saijo Sports Field.

Facilities Available for Use
|

1.The Seminar House can accommodate 82 people. The accommodation rooms are designated for use by one group only, as a rule, however, should there be a large number of users, we sometimes allow more than one group to use one at the same time.
2.For those who would like to use the Saijo Sports Field for recreational purposes (track field, soccer/rugby field, tennis courts, baseball field), please apply separately.

* Take JR West Japan's Sanyo Line and get off at Saijo Station, then board the JR Bus (Bound for Kurose/Hiro/Kure) from Saijo Station and get off at Suigenchi Mae. It's about a 15-minute walk from there.
* Take JR West Japan's Sanyo Shinkansen and get off at Higashi-Hiroshima Station. It’s a 5-minute taxi ride from there.

How to Make a Reservation
|
|
|
|
1.Make a reservation with the General Student Support Center
(Reservation period is anywhere from 2 months to 15 days in advance of the desired date)
2.Submit the Application Form and Training Schedule to the General Student Support Center
(Please submit the form at least 10 days in advance. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please give us 7 days notice; should there be any changes in the menu, please give us 3 days notice)
3.Pick up a Permit from the General Student Support Center
(Please turn the permit in to the reception desk when staying overnight at the Seminar House)
