Certificate of Eligibility
|

| The Certificate of Eligibility is a document issued by the Immigration Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Justice as evidence | |
| that the foreign national meets the conditions for landing in Japan, including the requirements that the activity in which the | |
| foreign national wishes to engage in Japan. | |
| A student of foreign national wishing to enter a Japanese university as an international student needs to apply for a visa with | |
| status of "Student" at the nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate before entering Japan. | |
| For application, you may submit a Certificate of Eligibility to the Japanese Embassy or Consulate together with your passport | |
| and required documents, and then you can obtain your entry visa within a short period. | |
| The International Exchange Group, International Center of Hiroshima University will perform the necessary procedures to apply | |
| for your Certificate of Eligibility to the Immigration Bureau. The application procedure is as follows, and it will take about 1-3 | |
| months for issuance of Certificate of Eligibility. Therefore we recommend that you prepare for the application as soon as you | |
| receive your Notification of Acceptance. | |

Change of Status of Residence

| international student, it is necessary to change your current status of residence to "Student" visa at the Immigration Bureau. |
