About INU
 Founding
  • The INU is an international university consortium founded in 1999, proposed by the former President Osborne of La Trobe University (Australia).
  • Hiroshima University joined the Network in 2000.
 Mission
  • The mission of the INU is to advance the internationalization of its member institutions through student and staff mobility, research collaboration and co-operation in university management.
  • It allows member universities to provide a richer array of educational and research opportunities than any one university acting alone and allows members to share good practice in university management.
  • Members of the INU have a strong commitent to internationalization, innovative teaching and learning methods and research.
  • Activities that utilize the scale merit of the INU are becoming one of the vital pillars in the internationalization strategy of Hiroshima University.
