Chinese Human Resources Development Project Trainees

This is an international yen loan project between JICA and China. In order to ease the differences between regions in China, this project supports human resources development in higher education in provinces and cities in mainland China to strengthen development there. Academic staff in China use international yen loan funds to conduct joint research, training, or study abroad at universities in Japan. HU is doing its part to actively and openly accept Chinese trainees.

    JOCV Zambia Special Education Program

This program is a special education program offered by the University's Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation (IDEC) in conjunction with the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) under JICA.
Students participate in activities as members of JOCV in Zambia during the two years of their Master's course while also receiving instruction from the School's instructors. Students then write their Master's thesis based on the theories of educational cooperation that they learned and the practical experience gained after coming back to Japan. The aim of the program is to enhance the ability and skills of students as individuals engaged in development cooperation through on-site experience.
