What is the Campus Guide?
|
|
|

The Campus Guide is a walking tour designed to introduce the Hiroshima University campus and the valuable resources in its possession in order to deepen interest in and understanding of the university. The tour begins at 1 p.m. on Fridays and is led by a student guide. Visitors will be taken to different areas and facilities around campus and shown exhibits at the University Museum and satellite buildings.

* In May 2002 the program began under the title "Campus Tour," and 238 tours were conducted between then and the end of March 2007. Click here to read more about the past tours.
*The program was renewed in April 2007 and is now carried out under the name "Campus Guide." The tours are jointly implemented by the Hiroshima University Community Cooperation Center and the Hiroshima University Museum.

Come to the lobby on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building at 1 p.m. on Fridays. Reservations are not necessary.

*The administration building is the building right in front as you come through Gate 1, and the main entrance is on the 2nd floor. Note that the parking lot in back is connected to the 1st floor.
*If you will be coming in a group of 10 or more, please let us know in advance.
|
|
|
During the tour, you will walk all around the campus, so please dress accordingly. The tours take between 1.5 to 2 hours.
|
|
|
|
Student guides take visitors to different areas and facilities around campus and show them exhibits at the University Museum and satellite buildings.
|
|
|
|
While the course is pre-determined, the Guides take different routes each time.
|
|
|
| |
*The Hiroshima University Museum is based on the concept that the entire campus is a comprehensive museum. There are interesting exhibits at the main building and in satellite buildings that have been set up in different locations. More satellite buildings will be constructed in the future.
