Overview of the Facility
The Peer Support Room is counseling by students for students. At Hiroshima University there are a number of centers established for counseling, but on such a large campus many students do not actually know where to go. Because of that, starting in 2000, the Peer Support Room was established for students in need of support in matters of daily life. Student volunteers as peer supporters listen with the purpose of providing information on where students can go for the earliest counseling. The Peer Support room provides support for peers from the same campus. Of course, the service is free to use and strictly confidential. |
