【Overview of the presentation】
As Iraq faced a dramatic change from the dictatorship to democracy, such rapid change not accompanied with the same attitude and mentality to understand the democratic standards as a results reflected on the increasing violence and disturbance in some areas of the country, and in order to spread the culture of the peace, dialogues, and understanding each other, a number of procedures and measures was conducted or planned to be conducted by the government, community and the NGO's in order to enhance the mentality and the attitude of peace rather than the violence as this odd behaviour inherited from the previous regime system of life.

The content of the seminar will concentrate on how these parameters may be implemented under a well planned strategy to increase the understanding of the action to the peace building and how importance they are, with a concentration on the marshlands population who suffered from the discrimination, illiteracy and poor economical condition. How the people promote their knowledge and understanding for the peace building, the role of women, children, education, socioeconomic state will be also discussed.
