The Opening Ceremony of the Student Plaza

The Opening Ceremony for the Student Plaza was held at the Higashi-Hiroshima Campus on April 6, 2010. In this commemorative ceremony, President Asahara gave an address and expressed his hopes that this plaza whould be a place for students' independent activities, for which students gather, and the university makes every possible effort to support students. After his address, President Asahara and student representatives cut the ribbon.

The ceremony was followed by students' guides of the building with their explanations about each floor. Mr. Suzuki (a third-year student of the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences), who presided at the ceremony as a representative of V-pro (Hiroshima University Volunteer Promotion Committee, said "I hope every student can participate actively in events".
