FY2012 Debriefing Session held for the Caribbean Project

On Feb 13, the FY 2011 Debriefing Session for the Central America and Caribbean Project was held
at Hiroshima University to sum up this fiscal year's project and to discuss plans for the future .The Dominican
ambassador to Japan,H.E.Dr.Pedro Velges also attended the sesson.


At the beginning of the session Dr.Yamane, the vice president of Hiroshima University,gave an explanation
for the brief summary and the progress of this project,which was followed by ambassador Velges's keynote
speech, in which the ambassador described the academic exchange of the Dominican Republic and Hiroshima
University,and the expectations of this project.

Afterward, the progess reports from each of the 4 groups (Engineering,Environment,Education and Agoronomy)
and Q and A sessions were held.It was a very meaningful time to have a spirited exchange of opinions on making
future plans.
