Japan Society for International Development Hiroshima Branch Seminar "Bangladesh Curriculum Seminar"

Hiroshima University has been engaged with "JICA Support Program for Strengthening Primary Teacher Training on Science and Mathematics" for improving quality of education in Bangladeshi in collaboration with Bangladesh government and JICA. Extending these efforts, the seminar will be held under the theme of how to theorize and realize "Learner-centeredness" in Bangladeshi primary science and mathematics curriculum.
The Bangladeshi trainees will make a presentation on reflection of the curriculum revision processes in 2011 and discussion on action-plans and future direction of curriculum development.
