Hiroshima University

In commemoration of　the 50th anniversary of the foundation, Hiroshima University Research Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine will hold the International Symposium “Support for Restoration from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster”. It is taken place as part of the project of Joint Usage/Research Center and Hiroshima/Nagasaki Univ. Collaborative Research Project.

On the 1st day, under the theme of radiation emergency medicine, the radiation carcinogenesis and epidemiological study and so on, lectures and presentation will be given by researchers of the international organizations such as ICRP and IAEA, as well as researchers from Fukushima and more. We will also include a report on the on-site activity of our institution in Fukushima.

On the 2nd day, poster sessions of studies of Joint usage / Research Center and Hiroshima/Nagasaki Univ. Collaborative Research Project will take place.
