Doctoral Program

  Drawing on their acquisitions in the master’s program, namely their abilities in atomic/molecular-level design and analysis of materials, as well as new high-performance material and energy development from chemical approaches, doctoral program students will further their studies and research toward becoming advanced experts and researchers who have the practical ability to design original research projects and conduct research and development to solve problems from a higher standpoint, and who can also work as instructors. Since many of the problems the Department handles require global research collaboration, students are expected to develop not only the advanced knowledge and mental flexibility that will help them better tackle complex problems, but also their ability to perform at the highest levels in an international environment.
