Management of Coastal Marine Environment

Research

The laboratory of Management of Coastal Marine Environment investigates mitigation measures and environmental management technology, based on the estimation and critical evaluation of the effects of human activities on the coastal environment. Students may also work concurrently at AIST.

1) Marine geo-environment research on the causes and effects of the environmental changes in the coastal regions (Nagao, M.)

2) Application of physical methods (data analysis, numerical model experiment, etc.) to coastal environments (conservation, restoration and evaluation) (Takahashi, S.)
