"Presentation of the biomass business idea system"

Takahito INOUE

FUKKEN CO.,LTD.

Takahito INOUE,FUKKEN co.,LTD.  As the tool that the staff officer of the local government examined business using local biomass, not only profitability of the business and the environmental effect but also existing biofuel built the system which showed "advice for the business" based on the analysis result of success factor such as the business.

By this seminar, I introduce the business idea system on the basis of alteration of the business environment after the feed-in tariff.

“The behavior of mannitol in hydrothermal pre-treatment”

Ryunosuke MATSUMOTO

M1 Student, Thermal Engineering Laboratory, HU

Ryunosuke MATSUMOTO,Student HU  Currently, there are many social problems such as the depletion of oil resources, carbon dioxide emission regulations, so it is essential to develop the technologies to make renewable energy. As one of the renewable energy, biomass is affected to solve the ploblem. Based on the exclusive economic zone alone, Japan is the 6th biggest country in the world. It is expected that using marine biomass effectively is to solve social problems such as the solution of fuel depletion problem. In advancing the use of marine biomass, conducting experiment by hydrothermal pre-treatment is effective for the the overall process. This study is to check the conversion characteristics of the biomass when subjected to hydrothermal pre-treatment by the addition of salt.
