International Student Center's "Internationalizing Campus" Forum



The Hiroshima University International Student Center will be holding a forum. Below are the details of the forum and the program which is scheduled to take place. Everyone is welcome to participate.



Theme: What it means to be a "friendly" university



Date and Time: Monday, March 27, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.



Venue: Hiroshima University Central Library, Library Hall



Free admission - no pre-registration necessary.

Outline: The newly settled on "Hiroshima University NEW Internationalization Strategy ~aiming to be a world-class research university~" holds as one of its new pillars the advancement of an internationalized campus. In order to build a university which is friendly to the people of the world and one which is frequented by many people, we would like to discuss information from the following viewpoints: what kind of university satisfies the needs and expectations of international students and foreign researchers? And what kind of continuous improvement is feasible to turn that university which satisfies students' needs into a reality?
