Agreement Signed with Kenyatta University

Executive Vice President Ninomiya and the Deputy Vice Chancellor

On March 22, Kenya's Kenyatta University and Hiroshima University signed university agreement aimed at technical information exchange, faculty and staff exchange, and student exchange. In attendance at the signature ceremony were Deputy Vice Chancellor Mohamed Rajab and 14 other deans and faculty from Kenyatta University, as well as Executive Vice President Ninomiya, Vice Dean of the Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation Ikeda, Assistant Professor Sawamura of the Center for the Study of International Cooperation in Education, and staff member Michiyo Hotta of the International Affairs Bureau.

Coinciding with the agreement, the Kenyatta University and Hiroshima University Collaborative Research Preparation Room was established, which will become a base for joint research in the near future. It is hoped that this agreement will promote more joint research in the field of international cooperation in education and exchange at Kenyatta University, already a leader in secondary teacher training and education research in central and east Africa.
