Hiroshima University Open Campus 2021

We will be holding the hybrid event “Hiroshima University Open Campus 2021” both on-campus and online as below.

  • On-campus event
    Date: August 19 (Thu) and 20 (Fri)
    * To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, advance registration by individuals is required, the detailed information including how to register will be given in mid-July.
    * The event may be cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation and weather conditions such as typhoon.
  • Online event
    Date: From August 16 (Mon) to 22 (Sun)
    During the period, video streaming and online consultation sessions (you can have a talk with university staff and ask them questions) will be available.
    * The online consultation sessions require reservations, and we will start accepting them around the end of July.

Important notice regarding measures for the infection prevention

In order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, we would like to ask all visitors to follow the items below, and thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation so that all visitors can enjoy the event with safety.

  • Only high school students and students preparing for undergraduate entrance exam are eligible to participate in the on-campus event, and advance registration by individuals is required.
  • The parents, the family members and high school teachers are not allowed to accompany students to the campus (except for those who need assistance due to disabilities).
  • Visitors from overseas and areas where the COVID-19 is spreading will be not allowed.
  • Visitors who are sick or have a fever of 37.5℃ or higher may not be allowed to participate in the on-campus event.
  • Please be sure to wear a non-woven mask while participating.
  • Please be sure to sanitize hands when entering and leaving the venue.
  • Please refrain from using the facilities in campus that serve foods and drinks (Co-op cafeteria, Mermaid Cafe, etc.).
  • Writing utensils are not available for rent, so please be sure to bring your own.
  • Please do not dispose of trash or masks in campus, and take them home back in the plastic bags that we will provide.
