The "Seminar on the Development of an International Joint Program" was held in the Hiroshima University International Affairs Bureau for on-campus faculty members this past Friday, November 9.



Ms. Ulrike Krawagna, Project Coordinator for Joint Degree Programmes and Summer School at the Office of International Relations, University of Graz--an international exchange agreement partner university with HU--was invited as a lecturer. After giving her lecture on "Joint Degrees at the University of Graz: Diversifying University Studies by Creating a Joint Vision," a lively question and answer session, as well as discussion, took place regarding topics such as the Bologna Process and Joint Degree Program development in Europe.



Since last fiscal year, HU has been involved in the creation of a Joint Masters Degree Program on Sustainable Development together with a number of universities in Europe, including the University of Graz.
