1. Entrance Examination Results (“Personal Information”) as defined in the following will be disclosed  only  to those  who  have  taken  the  Graduate  School  entrance  examination.

2. The process of Entrance Examination Results (Personal Information) disclosure is as follows:

(1) Obtain the form “Application for Disclosure of Entrance Examination Results (Personal Information) for Admission to the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Hiroshima University (広島大学大学院社会科学研究科入試個人情報開示申請書)” by any of the following methods:

① To obtain the form online: Download the form from the website of the Department of Economics, Graduate School of Social Sciences, Hiroshima University at http://hiroshima-u.jp/g_econ/admission/release (in Japanese only) and print it out on A4 size paper (210 mm x 297 mm).

② To request the application form in Japan: Prepare a return envelope (chokei 3 [12.0 cm x 23.5 cm]), print your name, complete address (incl. postal code), and the statement “Request for the Disclosure of Entrance Examination Results (Personal Information) for Admission to the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Hiroshima University” on it, affix 82-yen worth of stamps to it and send it to the Support Office, Graduate School of Social Sciences (contact details shown below).

③ To request the application form outside Japan: Contact the Support Office, Graduate School of Social Sciences (contact details shown below).

(2) Submit all required materials - as listed below - to the Support Office, Graduate School of Social Sciences (contact details shown below). If submitting materials in person to the Group, please do so within the due date.

② Examination admission card (jukenhyo) for Graduate School of Social Sciences, Hiroshima University (Copy not accepted. Card will be returned to you when Personal Information you require is disclosed.)
 In case you lost your examination admission card, please submit a copy of your driver’s license or other proof of identity.

③ For those applying in Japan: Prepare a return envelope (chokei 3 [12.0 cm x 23.5 cm]) with your (printed) name, complete address (incl. postal code) and the required stamps for kanikakitome registered mail affixed.
 For those applying outside Japan: Contact the Support Office, Graduate School of Social Sciences.

 If your application form or other required documents are incomplete, you may be asked to make revisions.

(3) Disclosure period
 For admission in April is from April 15 by May 31, and for admission in October is from October 15 by November 30. If submitting by post, postmark must be no later than the due dates.

(4) After receiving your application, the Graduate School will send you a notice of approval of Entrance Examination Results (Personal Information) disclosure within 30 days.
 If you apply from within Japan, the notice will be delivered to you in your return envelope by kanikakitome registered mail.

* If you are not at home when your notice of approval is delivered by registered mail, you will receive a delivery notice stating methods of receipt and other information, and the notice will be stored in a post office for a period of about one week. Please contact the post office directly to receive your notice.

 Please note that after the storage period at the post office, unclaimed notice of approval will be returned to Hiroshima University.
