Our Graduate School Participated in “Innovation JAPAN 2017 – University Fair” one of the Biggest Industry-Academia Match-Up Events in Japan

The Research Center for Animal Science (RCAS), The Graduate School of Biosphere Science, participated in the “Innovation JAPAN 2017 – University Fair” held at the Tokyo Big Sight on 31 August-1 September, 2017.   This annual fair represents a good opportunity to communicate and conduct exchanges on the new developments and research achievements between the University and companies.  The Hiroshima University booth introduced recent research themes such as:

  • “Production of safe products, eggs and milk by utilizing antimicrobial peptides.”
  • “Control of calf growth and nutrient condition using blue light”
  • “Development of sexing of sperm in domestic animals”
  • “Application of DNA markers for sex determination of poultry”

At the Fair, the Graduate School was represented by Dr. Yukinori Yoshimura (Dean), Dr. Masahide Nishibori and Dr. Naoki Isobe.
