The short-term internship of MAZDA report meeting was held.

The short-term internship at MAZDA Motor Corporation report meeting was held on 4 November 2014.

The meeting was attended by six guests from MAZDA Motor Corporation as well as the program members. Some staff of Hiroshima University global career design center which collaboratively arranged the internship with MAZDA also attended. The meeting was conducted with an active Q&A session from wide range of industry-academia perspective.

With the opening remarks of Dr. Okamoto, program director, the meeting began and was followed by the address from Mr. Muraoka of MAZDA.

Eleven students made their presentations. In their presentations some introduced their duties during the internship in detail; some suggested how to apply what they learned there to their student life; some mentioned how the industry should be and so on. Various achievements were presented.

The program members asked questions about their practical work content and guests from MAZDA also gave the students comment and words of encouragement. Through this interaction it was reviewed that the students have achieved a lot during the internship at MAZDA. It was closed by the speech of Dr. Kamiya, program coordinator.

This report meeting was televised to both Higashihiroshima and Kasumi campus. The presentation materials were prepared by the students in English, and the presentations and the discussions were conducted in English, too.
