（Quantum Matter Program）The following changes will be made to the entrance examination for the Master's Course General Selection to be conducted from AY2023 onward.

1. Abolition of Basic subject written exam

In the Quantum Matter Program Master’s Course of the Division of Advanced Science and Engineering of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, basic subject written exam will be abolished. Only specialized subjects will be included in the contents of the written examination for General Selection (October admission and April admission A Term) to be conducted from April 2023 onward.

　2.Change in the method of asking questions for specialized subjects (Electronic Engineering)

In the Quantum Matter Program Master’s Course of the Division of Advanced Science and Engineering of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, the method of asking questions for specialized subjects (Electronic Engineering) for General Selection (October admission and April admission A Term) to be conducted from April 2023 onward will be changed as follows.

【Before change】Answer three out of four questions from Electromagnetism, Electric Circuits, Semiconductor Engineering, and Quantum Mechanics

【After change】 Answer four questions on Electromagnetism, Electric Circuits, Semiconductor Engineering, and Quantum Mechanics
