Hiroshima University will host the Doctoral Student–Industry Networking Event for doctoral students in collaboration with national universities in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. The event provides an opportunity for students to explore future career paths and broaden their career options.
This will be the first joint event bringing together doctoral students from the participating universities. In addition to students from Hiroshima University, doctoral students from Shimane University, Okayama University, Yamaguchi University, Tokushima University, Kagawa University, Ehime University, and Kochi University will participate. A number of companies interested in recruiting doctoral talent are also expected to attend, providing participants with valuable opportunities to connect with students and companies they may not otherwise encounter.
The event offers not only opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of participating companies, but also to build networks with doctoral students from other national universities in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions and gain diverse perspectives and insights. It will be beneficial not only for those considering careers in industry, but also for students who have not yet decided on their future career paths.
