Knee Cartilage Regenerative Medicine Developed by President Mitsuo Ochi is now Featured on the Al Jazeera’s Website and Disseminated World-wide



The satellite TV station Al Jazeera in Middle East has broadcast knee cartilage regenerative medicine developed by President Mitsuo Ochi in their medical treatment program (in English). The video clip of the program is now available on Al Jazeera’s Website.

The program in question is called “The Cure” which features cutting-edge medical treatments throughout the world. Under the title “In Japan, new knees for the Old”, the following caption can be seen on the Website: “We travel to Hiroshima to meet a surgeon revolutionising regenerative medicine.”

In mid-April, a reporter, Dr. Javid Abdelmonein who is critical care doctor and lives in London, and his TV crews visited Hiroshima University Hospital for news coverage. In the program, a clinical study on regenerative medicine that utilizes a powerful magnetic field in order to direct cultured bone marrows to the targeted site, has been explained at full length with President Ochi’s comments and some narratives from one of his patients.

Al Jazeera Media Network is a satellite TV station based in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It is estimated that Al Jazeera reaches 270 million households in over 140 countries across the globe.
