To further promote the research power of our university, it was decided to establish a new world-class research center named "Hiroshima University Resilience Research Center". The center will continue to promote the state-of-the-art interdisciplinary studies on resilience science, particularly focusing on "synergistic torrential rainfall disaster" that causes a wide range of damages in synchronization with mudslide, sediment flow and inland flood.
