This program established “Radiation Disaster Recovery Studies,” which covers the professional academic fields of medical science, environmental science, engineering, the physical sciences, sociology, petagogy and psychology to develop “personnel for protect human lives from radiation disasters”, “personnel for protecting the environment from radioactivity,” and “personnel for protecting children and society from radioactivity.” Therefore, it is anticipated that prospective students will have various backgrounds.
