Please be aware that there are some changes in the written portion of the entrance exam (effective September 2017).  Please confirm the changes in the application handbook, scheduled to be distributed in early June 2017 (Heisei 29). The changes are as below:

For the foreign language exam, your score from any of the following English ability exams (1-4), or the JLPT (5) will be used.
However, depending on your desired field, or the judgment of your project team, an exam in another language may be required separately.
1. TOEIC® or TOEIC® IP
2. TOEFL® PBT
3. TOEFL® iBT
4. Eiken
5. JLPT N1 (only for non-native Japanese speakers)
Original scoresheets from tests taken after the following dates will be accepted (they will be returned to you later):

2017-2018 (Heisei 29-30) exams:
・If you are taking the entrance exam in September 2017(Heisei 29) (application period: July 2017), scores for exams taken on April 1st, 2014 or later will be accepted.
・If you are taking the entrance exam in February 2018 (Heisei 30), (application period: January 2018), scores for exams taken on April 1st, 2014 or later will be accepted.
