Wuhan city is a large city in central China located in the middle of the Yangtze River. The economic development is remarkable in recent years. A large project has been started in WHUT on cargo transportation of ships using Yangtze River, research on new ship design and river transport technology has been focused. Through these projects and international collaborative research, we would like to hope that research activities on Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering will be enhanced.
