The Global Commons Kick-off Event was held on April 23, 2026, at the L Building of the School of Education. Following opening remarks by Dean Maruyama and the appointment of three QTAs, Professor Lawrence introduced the Global Commons and the Global Learning Center.

During the ice-breaking session, Japanese and international students interacted in English and Japanese, creating a lively atmosphere. A total of 37 students participated in the event. The next session will be held after the Golden Week holidays in May. We will provide further details in due course. We look forward to seeing you there.
