Conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding with Forsyth Institute, U.S.A.



Hiroshima University Graduate School of Biomedical & Health Sciences signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Forsyth Institute, U.S.A.

On July 15, 2015, the signing ceremony was conducted between Prof. Wataru Yasui, Dean, Graduate School of Biomedical & Health Sciences, Hiroshima University and Dr. Philip Stashenko, President & Chief Executive Officer, Forsyth Institute.

Forsyth Institute is an independent not-for-profit institution established in Boston, U.S.A. in 1910. It has grown to be one of top institutes in basic research of dentistry of the world. Forsyth Institute is also one of affiliate institutes of Harvard University.

At the Signing Ceremony held at Forsyth Institute in Boston, the MOU was officially signed by Dean Wataru Yasui and President Philip Stashenko in attendance of Motoyuki Sugai, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry from Hiroshima University and Dr. Thomas Van Dyke, Dr. Susan Rittling and Dr. Toshihisa Kawai from Forsyth Institute. They all agreed upon promoting future collaborative activities such as student and staff mobility and joint research / education through discussions and opinion exchanges.

The MOU agreement will facilitate the mutual relationship with joint student / staff exchange between the two institutions.
