On March 29, 2018, the signing ceremony was conducted between School of Dentistry, Hiroshima University (HUD) and the School of Dentistry, Seoul National University, Republic of Korea (SND).

Seoul National University was established in Seoul, Korea in 1946. It has grown as one of top universities in research and education in Korea. SND was established at the same time as university establishment and has also been grown one of top dental schools in Korea.

In the signing ceremony held at Hiroshima University Kasumi Medical Campus, a memorandum was officially concluded in attendance of faculty and staff members from SND – Dr. Ho Beom Kwon, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dr. Young-Seok Park, Associate Dean of Planning & Coordination - and faculty members from HUD –Dean Prof. Koichi Kato, Vice Dean Prof. Kotaro Tanimoto, and Associate Dean Prof. Makiko Fujii. They discussed and exchanged their opinions, and reached an agreement concerning promotion of future collaborative activities.

The Memorandum of Understanding will facilitate the mutual exchanges of students and staffs between the two institutions.
