On May 17th 2021, The International Exchange Program 2021 was held by students from Department of Dental Hygiene, Konyang University, and Program of Oral Health Sciences, School of Dentistry, Hiroshima University, which have signed an agreement between the departments. Every year since 2016, we have conducted a one-week training program at each university under the "Overseas Study Program for Dental Students". However, due to the spread of COVID-19 infection, the program was conducted online this year.

47 students in 1st grade from Department of Dental Hygiene at Konyang University participated online, and 18 students in 3rd grade from our department gathered in our lecture room. We had presentations and discussed about dental hygiene work in each country and the practical training of both universities.

Furthermore, in a post-participation questionnaire, more than 80% of the participants said they were satisfied with the program and 98% said they would like to study English further.
It was a very productive time for students who participated in this program to improve the motivation for learning English and international exchange.
