Ryohei Takagi, Fourth year student at Department of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering,received Honorable Mention in the Gakusei Keitai Award 2012 held by the Student Group of the Institute of Electronics Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) Chugoku Branch.

The award is an event planned to solicit ideas that generate new potential in portable telephones. The theme for the current year was "portable telephone applications that bring slight changes in the world." Entries were screened to give recognition to works of excellence that demonstrated outstanding creativity.
