Hiroshima University has established the “HU SPRING Research Study Abroad Program” as part of the Program for Developing and Supporting the Next Generation of Innovative Researchers at Hiroshima University (SPRING).
This program assists doctoral students—such as Next-Generation Fellows, Next-Generation AI Fellows, and STEM Female Research Fellows—in conducting research at leading research institutions, both in Japan and abroad, by enabling collaboration with outstanding researchers outside their home institution for a specified period.
Through this initiative, the university aims to foster highly skilled doctoral talent with rich international experience who are expected to play active roles on the global stage in the future.
