Due to the relocation of the Hiroshima City Central Library to Yell Yell A-kan, the library will be closed from September 1st for the sorting and moving of its collection.

As a result, we will be suspending Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests for materials held by the Hiroshima City Central Library starting at 12:00 PM on July 30th. Please note that the library's ILL services for materials at other Hiroshima City Libraries will continue to be available after this date.

We expect a high volume of requests on the last day, so we encourage you to submit any requests for Central Library materials as soon as possible.

The Hiroshima City Central Library is scheduled to reopen in April 2025.
