Digital Collections
The Hiroshima University Library is digitizing its valuable collections and making them available through the Hiroshima University Digital Materials Archive. Additionally, some of our classical Japanese books have been digitized by the National Institute of Japanese Literature and are publicly available on their website.

Rare Books and Chinese Classic Books
Rare books and Chinese classic books held by the Hiroshima University Library are stored in the Valuable Collections Room and Japanese Collections Room. Catalogs of these materials are available in PDF files and printed volumes.
Please note that some of the materials listed as being in Hiroshima University's collection in the "Kokusho somokuroku" (Comprehensive Catalog of Japanese Books) and the National Institute of Japanese Literature's "Kokushi Database" were lost in wartime fires
