Before leaving Hiroshima University, we kindly ask that you confirm once again that you have returned all the books you borrowed.
Returns can be made at any HU library. When the libraries are closed, please use the book drop.
Confirmation of Returned all books
You can confirm the status of your loans through “Online Services.”
You may also confirm it at the library counter by presenting your student ID or staff ID.
If you graduate (or leave the university) without returning books, other users will be unable to access the materials. in addition, repeated reminders will be sent to your registered home address.
We kindly request that you return all items before your enrollment or employment ends.
Long-term book lending during Year-end and Spring vacations
For the long-term book lending for HU students, the due date for students graduating this year differs from that of other students.
Due date:
March 23, 2026 (Mon)
*Please note that due dates may vary depending on library closure days or the expiration date of your ID card.
For students who will continue enrollment (advancing or repeating a year)
Your current student ID is valid for library use until March 23, 2026 (Mon).
If you wish to borrow books during the period before receiving your new student ID, you may do so by the required procedures.
For details, please refer to the announcements on “Momiji” or inquire at the library counter.
Library use after graduation or leaving the university
After graduation (or resignation), you may continue to use the HU Libraries as a general user.
If you wish to borrow books, please apply for and obtain a Library User Card.
