What is Hiroshima University Institutional Repository (HiR)?

The Hiroshima University Institutional Repository (HiR) is an official institutional repository of Hiroshima University. It  provides a free, open access to scholarly works created by the university’s faculty, staff, and students.
HiR serves as a platform for Hiroshima University members to disseminate their academic outputs, including journal articles, conference papers, research reports, books, research data, and doctoral dissertations.

HiR serves as a showcase for Hiroshima University’s scholarly achievements. Its purpose is to share academic outputs, scholarly information, and intellectual works produced within the university with a wide range of people who support the academic community.

Copyright Guidelines

When registering content in HiR, please obtain prior permission from the copyright holder to include the work in the repository. If the work has been published, copyright may have been transferred to the publisher or an academic society. Please make sure to confirm who owns the copyright.

Please note that registering any work in HiR does not transfer copyright to Hiroshima University. Copyright remains with the original copyright holder.
