Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
My work involves the maintenance of atomic power plants. Knowledge of materials is required for my job. I have found that the lectures attended on subjects such as material science, mechanical materials and so forth have proved very useful. Furthermore, knowledge of electricity is also required for developing maintenance tools. Lectures on mechatronics and control engineering have proved helpful here. I spent a precious time at the graduate school and acquired extensive knowledge for tackling various issues.
I do research and development of control technologies on machines and tools. Lectures on control engineering, system engineering, material mechanics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical dynamics have proved particularly helpful to me for inspection and analysis. I hope that I will contribute to the enrichment of human life by developing technologies and manufacturing. I learned a lot about energy, machines and system integration and gained a broader perspective.
I conduct developmental tests on industrial engines. I therefore realize the importance of problem solving ability. At the graduate school, I gained the basic ability to think in a problem-solving manner throughout my research days. Good advice from the staff and excellent facilities provided me with a fruitful academic time there.
I took various lectures on not only machines but also materials and so forth. I was extremely satisfied with the practical lectures on CAD and machine tools such as lathes and millers. I was also kindly supported by many staff in my job hunting. The problem solving ability I developed helps me in my work as an engineer.
