Development of plants with new features by the introduction of foreign heterologous genes. In particular, we aim to obtain plants with enhanced biomass based on rapid growth capability and thickened cell wall, by modification of sugar chains of plant proteoglycans, arabinogalactan proteins, using molecular biological techniques.
