Hiroshima University Faculty of Dentistry signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Konyang University College of Medical Sciences, Republic of Korea

On June 23, 2015, the signing ceremony was conducted between Faculty of Dentistry, Hiroshima University and College of Medical Sciences, Konyang University.

At the Signing Ceremony held at Konyang University, Prof. Motoyuki Sugai, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, Hiroshima University and Prof. Dr. Hwa Soo Koong, Dean, College of Medical Sciences, Konyang University officially signed the MOU in attendance of many university staff including Prof. Hi-Soo Kim, President and Dr. Sang Hwan Oh, Head of School of Dental Hygiene. They deepened mutual understanding by exchanging opinions on future collaborative activities such as student and staff mobility and joint research / education.

Konyang University is a private university founded in 1991 with 10 Colleges and 6 Graduate Schools. It has successfully gained its position as a prestigious university being selected as one of the ACE (Advanced College Education) universities by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology in 2010 for its advanced educational system in undergraduate studies. College of Medical Sciences, Konyang University established in 2006 at Daejeon Campus, offers a comprehensive education to nurture not only doctors and nurses but also other medical practitioners.

The MOU agreement will create a collaborative relationship with educational and research activities through student and staff exchange mainly in the field of dental hygiene between the two institutions.
