Dr. Azka Muji Burohman from Bandung Institute of Technology visited Hiroshima University, and delivered a special lecture entitled “A data-driven approach for model reduction of unknown network systems” on July 23. Dr. Azka Muji Burohman specializes in systems and control, with a particular focus on data-driven techniques. 

　In his lecture, he introduced a data-driven approach for reducing the complexity of unknown network systems. He presented methods for constructing reduced-order models directly from input–output data without requiring prior knowledge of the system dynamics, and discussed their effectiveness and potential applications. The lecture concluded with an active discussion with faculty members and students.
